Christmas Morning at Our House

Kara woke up and Annabelle was stirring at about 7:30am she was

all excited to see baby open up her presents so they came
in and got me up and we proceeded to the living room.

It was a good morning , here are a few pictures...enjoy:

Belle's 1st Thanskgiving

Well , I know its late but here are a few pictures of us at Thanksgiving. Annabelle had a great time seeing everyone again. She even got some turkey and sweet potato's ( baby food of course ). She is SO close to crawling now...she can do it a few times. Annabelle turns 8 months old on the 13th !! wow its been fun. We just got our Christmas tree up so she is excited about her first Christmas...wont be long. See yall then....Stay tuned.

Tiny Belle had a great time on her first halloween with all her cousins. She got to spend some time with Papa Bill and Grams too. I was on a trip in San diego and it broke my heart to miss her in her little lamb costume but she and Kara had a wonderful time with family. She is truly our little lamb. Pumpkin Patch

We went with some friends up to Burleson to Mainstay Farms. They host this every year at their farm. We walked around on a pretty day and Annabelle seemed to really enjoy herself. Enjoy the pics: she's a cutie

B-day & Bath time

We went up to Beth and Nicks for my b-day party. We went to eat out at my choice of Long John Silvers MMMmmmm Yummy. And then went back and had chocolate pie. It was a good visit and a great b-day. Look at Annabelle staring at that pie , too cute. And here she is at bath time. Stay tuned.....

Family Fun

Well , time seems to be flying by. The Lake house was a lot of fun. It was great to have everyone out and to see the kids all playing together. It wont be long before Annabelle and William will be in the mix. We got to visit with Rod & Kim when they came to Texas, it was a nice visit. Annabelle got to meet them for the first time. And Kara here is feeding Annabelle some carrots. Mmmmm she likes them carrots. Actually she likes most any vegetable. She's not a big fan of the green beans but she will eat some of them. Of course all of the fruits are a hit. She will eat any of them. It's a fun time right now. She is learning to grab stuff and to sit up , they both still need some work but she is coming along. wont be long before our little girl is crawling..yikes! Stay Tuned....

Annabelle goes to Florida

Grammy & PawPaw with Belle and Kara and I with her at Boca Grande. It is a pretty beach. Annabelle got in the water here but didn't last long.

Kara and I were able to get away one night, we stayed on Longboat Key. Here is the sunset. It was beautiful. We enjoyed room service and a relaxing time together.

Well , it was a great trip and Annabelle sure loved Florida. Her plane ride back she was awake and really enjoyed it HAHA but She did pretty well for a first time flyer.

It was a trip to remember unless of course your 4 months old then you probably will just have to see the scrapbook that Kara is working on.

Happy 4th of July !

Kaden loving on his cousin Annabelle, how cute. We went up to my aunt Linda and Uncle Bob's for the 4th of July. We had lots of family in. Annabelle loved all the attention as she was wearing her 4th of July outfit ( it read: My first 4th of July ).




Here's Aunt Mel holding baby belle. Melissa heads off to Iraq in November. She has a month in California for training in September. Not sure if we will get to see her again before she heads off so it was good to see her. Annabelle loves her Aunt Mel



Melissa , Kara , & I went and took a tour of the new Cowboys stadium. Here we are in a $2.5 million dollar suite. It was pretty nice. It was one of those times where you think , I'll probably never be in this room again ( unless we take the tour again HA ).




Look at the size of that screen above the stadium ! they said it alone cost $40 million dollars.
I want to take the tour again to count the times the guide said the phrase, " largest in the world".
He kept saying it. He did say it is the largest dome structure in the world. I bet he used the phrase some 20 times.

It was a great 4th of July. We took Annabelle to the Doctors last week and she weighed in at 9 pounds 1 ounce. She's growing. She takes her first air plane ride in a few weeks. Kara and her are off to Florida while I am at Bible Camp. I will join them the following week. Should be a lot of fun. Well that's all for now. Oh what fun ( six weeks old )

We had a blast this weekend with all the family in. It was great to have all the kido's and of course Cherry together. Jill and Jared got there first looks at Annabelle. The verdict is in... she's adorable. This other pic I snapped while she was napping today. She loves my feather pillow and look how she's sleepin'...all spread out, too cute. Stay tuned...

We went to the doctor this past monday and she weighed in at 6 lbs 4 oz. So she is growing and still as cute as ever. Stay tuned....

Well , its a rainy day outside but we have our little miss sunshine inside and enjoying every minute of it. We've been able to get some sleep lately by keeping her up a little during the day, so that's been good for mommy and daddy. We went to the doctor yesterday for her two week check up and though she weighed in at a whopping 5 lb 6 oz the doctor said she is in perfect condition. He said her skin , face , head , and body all look very healthy. He said that's the first sign of a baby that isn't getting the nutrition it needs, it begins to look bad. She is nursing regularly and is a happy little girl. We are both still so excited, she's a bundle of joy. Hope you all are doing well. Stay tuned.......
